High Speed HDMI Version 1.4 Standard: High-Definition Multimedia Interface (HDMI) 1.4 can combine multiple cables into one. It supports audio, video, and ethernet through the use of a single cable. This standard of HDMI allows for an audio return channel, supports 3D video formats, enables resolutions up to 4K @ 30Hz, adds additional color spaces for use in digital photography or computer graphics and is accepted by multiple devices. HDMI can connect to a variety of devices supporting mobile phones, gaming consoles, computers and home theater systems to almost any HDTV or monitor with an available HDMI port.

HDMI Compatibility: This version of HDMI can connect to all previous verisions of HDMI as well as HDMI 2.0. The different HDMI standards allows for quick and easy connections and will automatically use the correct connection when joining two devices together that have different HDMI standards.
